Father,
We pray today for the mothers and fathers
Who have lost children to abortion.
We also pray for those
Who have lost to abortion
Their siblings and grandchildren,
Relatives and friends.
As the callous evil of the abortion industry is
exposed,
And the weight on our hearts
And the wound in our souls
Is ever more sensitive and painful,
We ask for your mercy and protection.
There is no healing balm
Except in the blood of Jesus Christ your Son.
It is therefore to him that we turn,
To his cross that we run,
And in the mighty power of his Resurrection
That we take refuge.
In him and through him,
Grant us healing and consolation.
Turn our despair to hope;
Turn our sadness to joy;
And turn our night of mourning
Into the bright day of
The fullness of Your Kingdom,
When there will be no more death,
No more crying out or pain,
For the former things have passed away.
Lord, make all things new
In our hearts and in the world.
Through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen!
