2012 March for Life - Walk for Life

Visit the Priests for Life booth and Priests for Life Stand True Youth Outreach booth at the March for Life Exhibit Hall.  The Exhibit Hall will be located on the main lobby level of the Hyatt Regency hotel. The hours of operation are Saturday, January 21: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  Sunday, January 22 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Monday, January 23 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and approximately 3:00 PM (following the March) until 6:00 PM.

Monday, January 23: Washington, DC

7:30am: Closing Mass for National Prayer Vigil for Life, Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.

7:30am: Youth Rally & Mass for Life, Verizon Center & DC Armory

8am: ProLifeCon: Conference at Family Research Council for the online pro-life community.

8:45am-10:30am: The nation's premier pro-life service on Capitol Hill, The National Memorial for the Pre-Born and their Mothers and Fathers at the Capitol Visitor Center, Rm. HVC-201. The doors will open at 8:30am and we will begin the service shortly thereafter. Seating is limited and security is tight and the line gets long so attendees are encouraged to get there early. The event is open to the public and clergy of all denominations are invited to take part in reciting the prayers and reading scripture passages. Any clergy who are interested in participating should email memorial@priestsforlife.org. Our special musical guest will be Kelly Clinger, recording artist and spokesperson for the Silent No More Awareness Campaign and Tony Melendez. 10am: Dr. Alveda King will speak at  "Celebrate Life. Embrace Grace," sponsored by Concerned Women for America in Room 385 of the Russell Building on Capitol Hill.  See the CWA website for more information.

12pm-1:30pm: March for Life Rally at the National Mall west of 8th Street near the Smithsonian Castle.

1:30pm: March for Life.  Janet Morana and Georgette Forney will march with men and women of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign at the front of the crowd.

Immediately following the March: Gathering of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign at the steps of the Supreme Court.  Please come and support these brave women and men who will give there testimonies in public.  Even if you can't be there please listen to the testimonies, pray with the group, and spread the testimonies to others, see www.SilentNoMoreAwareness.org.

6pm: March for Life Rose Dinner: Keynote speaker will be Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli. The social hour will begin at 6:00 PM and dinner will be served at 7:00 PM.  

Sunday, January 22: Washington, DC

9am-9pm:  Students for Life Conference, Bethesda, MD.  Kevin Burke, Rachel's Vineyard and Georgette Forney, Silent No More Awareness Campaign will speak about how to bring healing after abortion.  Bryan Kemper and Stand True, the Youth Outreach of Priests for Life, will have a table at the conference.  Kevin Burke will have a book signing at the table.

9:30am-4pm: Cardinal O Connor Conference for Life, Georgetown University

3pm-5pm: March for Life Mini Rally at the White House, Lafayette Park, across the street from the White House

6:30pm: Pro-Life Mass in the Great Upper Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine.  Fr. Denis Wilde, OSA, Associate Director will be in attendance.

 

Saturday, January 21: Washington, DC
