Fr. Pavone praises courageous victim of botched "abortion"
New York City- Fr. Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for
Life, issued the following statement today praising the courage of a victim
of botched "abortion." Melanie Mills revealed her story on a radio station
in St. Louis, Missouri, which was met with a lawsuit from abortionist
Yogendra Shaw from the Hope Clinic in Granite City, IL. Ms. Mills had not
been given a pregnancy test prior to the abortion, only later to realize she
was never pregnant; she was suffering from a blighted ovum.
Said Fr. Pavone: "Thank God for the willingness of Melanie Mills to
uncover what we know are two common abuses: abortionists doing abortions on
people who are not pregnant, and abortionists intimidating women into silence
about the malpractice that occurs in legal abortion clinics. We call on women's
rights groups to denounce abortionists who exploit women in this way."
