Priest Leader Calls for Strong Abortion Language
Washington, DC – Fr. Frank Pavone, National
Director of Priests for Life, applauded the remarks made Monday by Vatican
Archbishop Angelo Amato, secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the
Faith. The Archbishop called abortion “terrorism with a human face” and
said, “Besides the abominable terrorism of suicide bombers, which is
ever-present in the media, there is the so-called terrorism with a human face,
which is also a daily occurrence and just as repugnant, which continues to be
propagated by the media, manipulating traditional language with expressions that
hide the tragic reality of the facts.”
Fr. Pavone commented, “Our organization
challenges every priest and pastor in America to repeat these words from the
pulpit. Even preachers of the Gospel can be in denial about abortion and
may think that sugar-coated words will solve the problem. They won’t.
It’s time to strengthen our language and bring it into line with the reality of
what abortion is.”

Catholic pro-life organization dedicated to ending abortion and euthanasia. For
