As I said in my alert, it’s time to away with the blue slip practice in the U.S. Senate that can kill a presidential appointment if home-state senators don’t like the nominee. It’s a deeply partisan ploy to hamstring a sitting president. President Trump has called for it to be abolished but so far, the Senate is resisting.
Let’s help them change their minds.
