Ask your US House Democrat Candidate to go on record
in support of abortion survivors

Dear Friends,
We must put the House of Representatives back into pro-life hands in this election!
And a key to doing that is publicly challenging the candidates on the matter of infanticide.
Let me explain.
In the opening weeks of the 116th Congress, Missouri Republican Rep. Ann Wagner introduced H.R. 962, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, in the House of Representatives.
The bill mandates emergency life-saving care for newborns who survive an abortionist’s attempt to kill them in the womb. It does not limit access to abortion in any way; it doesn’t mandate ultrasounds or waiting periods; it doesn’t require consent for minors.
The only objective of this bill is to save the lives of babies aborted so far into pregnancy that they can survive, with medical intervention. Babies born prematurely at 22 weeks – before the legal cut-off for abortion in many states – have survived because the parents who wanted them make sure they get the care they need. Hospital staff nurture and love these babies and are proud when they are well enough to leave the hospital. Often a feel-good news story follows.
Abortion survivors – although unwanted by their parents - deserve the same rights, the same care, the same nurturing and love every baby needs to thrive. But what meets these tiny survivors after their accidental births is a cold, lonely and painful death. Most of them are not even given the dignity of a burial.
The Republicans have pulled out all the stops trying to get this bill to the floor, including publicly calling for a vote over and over again for months on end, and introducing a Discharge Petition that, with 218 signatures, would automatically lead to a vote. The petition has 205 signatures – only three belonging to Democrats. This is a disgrace that demonstrates in stark relief the abortion extremism of the party of death.
That’s why I’m here, to ask for your help in reclaiming America for those of us who cherish life.
Every seat in the House of Representatives is up for grabs this year.
In your district, you may have either a Democrat incumbent or a Democrat challenger. The point of my message today is to publicly ask the candidate to state his/her position on protecting babies born alive!

After all, a politician who won’t recognize a newborn baby’s right to life does not deserve your vote.
