Dear Friends,
Things are heating up.
You’ve heard from me already about the importance of passing the SAVE America Act, which will secure our elections in a big way, and the provisions of which most American support.
This act, very simply, would require voters to prove citizenship while registering to vote and to show ID when showing up to vote in federal elections.
It’s just commonsense.
And the only group of people in America who oppose it are Congressional Democrats.
Now when votes are stolen and elections are fraudulent – who wins?
The Democrat Party -- which is also the party of abortion.
Elections that are not secure elect pro-abortion candidates.
President Trump is adamant about passing the SAVE America Act to safeguard our elections and I know you are, too.
H.R. 7296, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act - or SAVE America Act - was introduced on January 30 by Texas Rep. Chip Roy.
The bill passed the House but has stalled in the Senate, where Democrats have vowed to oppose it, leaving it short of the votes needed to overcome a filibuster.
Democrats, of course, hate the bill because they are fine with all kinds of voter fraud that results in more of them getting into office. But our president is so determined to get it passed that he canceled signing a bipartisan housing bill on Wednesday, posting on X that "today's housing news conference and signing is hereby canceled until such time as we pass the desperately needed Save America Act, which I consider to be a national emergency."
Shortly after the president canceled the housing bill signing, House Speaker Mike Johson said he wants to push the SAVE Act through a third reconciliation bill. In the reconciliation process, Republicans can bypass the Senate filibuster, which requires 60 votes to advance legislation.
At a press briefing on Wednesday, Johnson said he told the president that reconciliation can succeed if Republicans stick together.
That’s where you come in. Both the House and Senate must pass an identical reconciliation bill. Democrats likely won’t drop their opposition to SAVE but, as Speaker Johnson said, we just need the Republicans to stand firm.
Can I count on you to call your representatives and senators to let them know you support passing the SAVE Act through reconciliation?
When you click this link, you will be letting me know you are committed to taking part in this vitally important effort to safeguard our elections.
And please forward this to anyone on your e-mail list who may be interested -- and encourage them to do the same!
