Tell your senators to stay in DC, pass SAVE America Act

Dear Friends,
President Trump has called on the Senate to skip its August recess and stay in Washington until the SAVE America Act is passed!
We are echoing that call and ask you to join us!
Politico has described the August recess as one of the “most sacrosanct elements of the congressional calendar” and predicts a “cruel summer” if senators are forced to stay in D.C.
I frankly don’t care about their comfort.
I want them to do what they were elected to do.
The SAVE America Act is crucial for the prolife movement, because it increases election security.
When there is election fraud, the pro-abortion side has the advantage.
This act, very simply, would require voters to prove citizenship while registering to vote and to show their ID when showing up to vote in federal elections.
S. 3752, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act - or SAVE America Act - was introduced January 29 by Utah Sen. Mike Lee, a Republican.
Its companion bill in the House, H.R. 7296, was introduced a day later by Texas Rep. Chip Roy.
The good news is that the Republican House has passed it!
But the bill has been stalled in the Senate for months, where Democrats have vowed to oppose it, leaving it short of the votes needed to overcome a filibuster. But if the Democrats want to hold it up, let’s force those who want to filibuster to actually do so until they’ve said all they want to say, and then have a vote on the bill itself.
In other words, if you want the debate to continue, then DEBATE! Don’t just sit there and obstruct.
Personally, I would love to hear each and every Democrat articulate exactly why they oppose this bill. They don’t want to do that, of course, because many of them are facing re-election, and they don’t want their constituents to know they oppose a bill that over 80% of Americans, in all demographics, support!
The SAVE America Act deserves a full debate and an up-or-down vote before senators leave Washington. Can I count on you to convey this message to your U.S. senators?
