Contact Your Senators Now to Defund Planned Parenthood
and Save Babies!

Dear Friends,
The U.S. Senate this week will consider H.R. 3762, a bill that would both defund Planned Parenthood and repeal key parts of Obamacare.
H.R. 3762 must be approved!
The legislation, a version of which has already passed the House, would make Planned Parenthood ineligible to participate in the Medicaid program. That means Planned Parenthood would lose $400 million in federal money next year!
H.R. 3762 represents the best chance we have ever had to gain Senate approval of a defunding bill and send it to President Obama. That’s because, unlike previous measures to deny taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood, this bill is being offered through a procedure called “reconciliation.” Under reconciliation, Senators cannot filibuster the bill, so it only needs 51 votes – not 60 – to pass.
In short, we can finally make our voice heard by sending a bill to the President with the loud and clear message, “No more taxpayer money for the nation’s biggest abortion business!”
And please understand -- we know that President Obama will not sign any bill that defunds Planned Parenthood. But just getting this bill to his desk would be a tremendous victory, because then it forces him and his entire party to explain their actions, which are out of step with the American people.
Getting the bill to his desk, furthermore, shows him -- and the next President -- the will of the American people in regard to the funding of America's abortion giant.
So letting your Senator know of your support for H.R. 3762 is absolutely crucial.
If two or possibly three pro-abortion Republicans vote against the bill, that will leave the measure with only 51 Senators supporting it – the absolute minimum number it needs to pass.
There is not a vote to spare!
The bill would not reduce any funding for women’s health. In fact, it will benefit women’s health because it will send your taxpayer dollars to actual health providers – not Planned Parenthood.
Please call your Senators and ask them to support H.R. 3762 to defund Planned Parenthood and repeal major portions of Obamacare.
