Dear Friend of Life,
As I said in one of my posts on X today, we have to hold to absolutely uncompromising pro-life principles in every circumstance, political and otherwise. At the same time, we have to know how to translate those principles into public policy – and that means knowing how to navigate the political, legislative and judicial landscape.
We pray without ceasing, we help moms in need, we educate, we work to change hearts and minds, and then we guide those changed hearts and minds to change our laws and our lawmakers!
There is no need to choose between pro-life principles and political savvy. We are called to be both. That’s one of the meanings of Jesus’ words, “Be wise as serpents and innocent as doves” (Mt. 10:16).
There has never been a wider gap between the opposing parties in elections than there is right now. This is a no-brainer election for anyone who loves America, believes in freedom, worships God or is pro-life.
The Democrat Party hates America and is an enemy not only to the unborn, to marriage and to the family, but to all the tools we have to defend them: the Constitution, free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, and much more.
Our best hope moving forward politically is President Trump. Remember, he brings thousands of others with him into the federal Administration, including people who are as prolife as you and I are.
What does the pro-life movement need from him above all? One thing: get elected, so that the radical, Marxist, anti-God, anti-life Democrats don’t get any more power.
We have to be smart about elections.
