Dear Friend of Life,

This is not a normal election.

The house is on fire, as I just posted on X this afternoon.

And what you want from the firefighters is one thing and one thing only: that they can put the fire out.

You don’t choose them based on their other qualifications or opinions, beliefs or morality. The house is on fire.

And so is our country.

I’ve seen in the last few days how many people are still oblivious to the fact that the Democrat Party hates America, hates religion, hates the pro-life movement, and hates our values.

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are communists, pure and simple.

So frankly, I’m not so concerned about reports from NBC News and other enemies of the American people after they try to corner Trump, Vance, and other politicians about things like Heartbeat bills or IVF.

Where are the questions about what Trump actually did in his first term for the unborn? -- pro-life judges, stopping all kinds of abortion funding domestically and internationally, putting the USA in the Geneva Consensus (an international pro-life alliance), forming the Conscience and Religious Freedom Division of HHS (to protect people from being forced to perform abortions), and so much more.

And this is not just about “the past.” In politics, a candidate’s record matters more than his or her words. The past is prologue to the future.

Have you heard President Trump repenting of these things, saying they were mistakes, and vowing to never do them again? Of course not.

But no… people have to ask him about bills like Heartbeat, which the Congress is simply not going to get to his desk in his second term. We’re having discussions about imaginary scenarios.

Where are the questions from the enemy media to President Trump – or, imagine this, to Harris and Walz -- about abortions of healthy babies of healthy mothers in the last stages of pregnancy?

None, right? Of course not.

Because for the media, this isn’t about anyone’s position on abortion. It’s about electing Democrats and defeating Republicans.

And what’s most disturbing is that we’re letting them set the agenda, frame the conversation, carry the debate, and divide the movement.

Friends, the house is on fire. Do you want the pro-life movement to have the freedom to defend the unborn? That doesn’t depend on how pro-life President Trump is. It depends on how American he is. It doesn’t depend on him signing a Heartbeat bill or opposing IVF. It depends on him saving the Constitution, defending our freedom of speech, strengthening our religious freedom, and filling our courts with the kind of judges who, thirty years from now, will still be defending our rights as a pro-life movement and the rights of the uborn.

It's essential that we recalibrate our thinking right now and stop treating soundbites as policies, social media posts as legislation, and hostile media as our intermediaries with President Trump.

A president brings thousands of people into an Administration with him. People like Dr. Ben Carson, whose pro-life credentials are impeccable. In the Trump Administration, the Department of HHS was filled with pro-life leaders, and the office of Attorney General was defending pro-life activists, not throwing them in jail.

Let’s keep our eyes on the prize.

This is an election. Welcome to crazy time.

I assure you, we’re going to be able to think much more clearly ten weeks from now, and if we elect President Trump and his team, things are going to look much, much better for the pro-life movement.

I stake my reputation and my life itself on that conviction.
