FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TITUSVILLE, FL - Priests for Life National Director Frank Pavone released the following statement regarding the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision that doctors suing over the use of the abortion drug mifepristone did not not have standing to bring the suit.
“Today’s decision of the Court does not address the underlying issue that the FDA did act inappropriately, under pressure of the abortion industry,” Pavone said. “Women are still being harmed, babies are still being killed, and the merits of this case still have to be decided. It is outrageous that the other side thinks that no one can challenge the FDA’s actions here. They can and will be challenged.”
Executive Director Janet Morana, who co-founded the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, commented:
“It’s outrageous that women are still being so harmed because of the drastic abandonment of health and safety regulations by the FDA. We’ll continue to share their testimonies of pain, through Silent No More (www.AbortionTestimonies.com) and to advocate for their protection.”
