Priests for Life National Director Frank Pavone will speak at the inaugural Florida March for the Preborn at McCarty Park in Tallahassee on April 5.
A rally will begin at 11 a.m., with the march to step off at 11:40 a.m. It will be followed by a prayer service and speakers.
In June, Defending Life Alliance of Florida was founded with the primary goal of establishing an annual statewide pro-life march in the state capital. The Florida March for the Preborn has received strong support from numerous pro-life organizations across the country, with many planning to take part.
With recent victories like the defeat of Amendment 4, now is the time for pro-lifers across the state to unite and strengthen a culture of life in Florida, working toward the ultimate goal of ending abortion in the state.
“Florida is a pro-life state that has increased protections for the preborn and their families. We want to build on that momentum,” said Pavone, a board member for Defending Life Alliance. “Our march will also feature the voices of our Silent No More Awareness Campaign, through which those who have had abortions testify that it solves nothing, but only creates more problems.”
Let Them Live, NIFLA and Seven Weeks Coffee are sponsoring the event.
“We at Defending Life Alliance are ecstatic to host the Florida March for the Preborn,” said Christian McGrew. “We look forward to strengthening the culture of life, and equipping the public to take action in the fight to end abortion in Florida.”
Event organizers will be available for media interviews at 10:30 a.m.
McCarty Park is at 129 West Park Ave, Tallahassee.
