TITUSVILLE, FL -- Priests for Life National Director Frank Pavone released the following statement about a federal judge’s order blocking the exclusion of Planned Parenthood from the Medicaid reimbursement program.
“This will not last,” Pavone said.
“This will clash with the Supreme Court for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the Dobbs decision which leaves abortion policy in the hands of the people and their elected representatives, at every level of government. The people and their elected representatives spoke loud and clear in the Big Beautiful Bill.
“Secondly, the court also pointed out that district judges cannot put themselves at the level of reversing presidential executive orders, and that applies with even greater force here to bills signed into law by the president.”
