JACKSONVILLE, FL - Priests for Life National Director Frank Pavone issued the following statement today, on the eve of the second Florida March for the Preborn.

“The Florida March for the Preborn will bring the Florida pro-life movement together to thank the Lord for the progress we have made in protecting the unborn in the Sunshine State, and to recommit ourselves to working together to preserve and advance that protection.

“The March, as its title indicates, focuses on a specific group of people – the preborn – rather than generically on ‘all human life.’ Moreover, the rally is essentially a prayer service, commending the babies in the womb to the Lord’s protection. It will be a memorable event for all Floridians.”

Speakers at tomorrow’s event will include Lianna Rebolledo, who chose life for the daughter conceived in rape when Lianna was just 12 years old; Christine Yeargin, founder of Be Their Village; Emily Berning, founder and president of Let Them Live; Kimberly Bird of Live Action, and Sarah Neely of Operation Rescue.

Priests for Life, along with Florida Right to Life and the Defending Life Alliance of Florida are the primary sponsors of the event at James Weldon Johnson Park, 135 W. Monroe St, Jacksonville. An expo will begin at 10 a.m., followed by speakers and the March.
