TITUSVILLE, FL -- Priests for Life National Director Frank Pavone released the following statement regarding Wyoming’s new Heartbeat law.
“Priests for Life is grateful to the Wyoming legislature and Gov. Mark Gordon for the new law protecting children in the womb from abortion starting at the point that their heartbeat can be detected.
“The abortion industry is alarmed that American citizens and their elected representatives are utilizing the right reaffirmed in Dobbs to set abortion policy in the United States. Those who justify the killing of children can expect many more of these life-saving laws.
“Meanwhile, Wyoming’s only abortion business plans to challenge this new law in court. They are behind the times. American jurisprudence has abandoned the notion of a ‘constitutional right to abortion,’ and attempts to revive it deny science, morals, and public opinion.”
