A tentative schedule for Father Frank Pavone's appearance here has been announced.
The "Priests for Life" national director will be welcomed in Ft. Walton Beach on the evening of May 5, in the home of Bob Brady, director of Life, Inc.
On May 6, he is scheduled to concelebrate 8:15 a.m. Mass at St. Mary Parish, and meet with priests there after a breakfast. That afternoon, he will meet priests from the Destin and Santa Rosa Beach area before being interviewed on WFGX-TV by Bennett Luke in the evening.
Priests from Niceville and Mary Esther areas will meet with him May 7 before Father Pavone celebrates a pro-life Mass at St. Mary Parish in Ft. Walton Beach, at 7 p.m.
The next morning, he is expected to celebrate Mass for students at St. Mary School in Ft. Walton Beach, at 9 a.m.
He will then travel to Pensacola and meet with local priests at a luncheon hosted by pro-life committees. That evening at 7 p.m., he will speak to St. Mary Parish's youth group in Ft. Walton Beach.
On May 9 at 11 a.m., Father Pavone will tour Alpha Center in Pensacola and meet volunteers before a lunch and reception there.
At 8 p.m., he will celebrate a "Mass for Life" at St. Mary Parish in Pensacola, followed by a reception.
The next day, St. Jude Thaddeus Parish in Cantonment will welcome him at 8:30 a.m. Mass, followed by a Holy Hour.
Father Pavone then plans to pray at abortion clinics in Pensacola before leaving the area.
Father Pavone's visit is being sponsored by the pro-life committee at St. Mary Parish, Pensacola.
