Priests for Life national director Father Frank Pavone will present a talk on pro-life issues on Sunday, April 2, for all of the priests and deacons of the Louisville archdiocese. He will make the presentation at 3 p.m. in the Educational Building at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 512 Breckenridge Lane.
A priest of the Archdiocese of New York, Father Pavone will be in Louisville to speak at the Knights of Columbus annual "Family Life Conference" on Saturday, April 1, at Executive West Hotel, Watterson Expressway at I-65.
The conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also scheduled to speak is Helen Hull Hitchcock, director of Women for Faith and Family, a member of Women Affirming Life and an advisory board member for the Daughters of St. Paul.
Catholic education, Catholic home-schooling and pro-life concerns will also be addressed at the conference, said K of C spokesman Mike Peak.
Peak said all priests and deacons are being urged to attend Father Pavone's talk April 2.
The $10 cost for the conference includes lunch.
