NEW YORK – Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, called on pro-life voters in Super Tuesday states to go to the polls today.

“With both the presidency and the Supreme Court at stake, it’s impossible to overstate the importance of this year’s elections,” said Fr. Pavone.  “I urge all who value life to go to their polling places or caucus meetings this day and vote their conscience.  It’s a watershed moment.”

Nine states (Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, and Virginia) are holding presidential primaries today, while four more (Alaska, Colorado, Minnesota, and Wyoming) and American Samoa are conducting caucuses for one or both major parties today.  It’s the busiest electoral day in the primary season.

“The Supreme Court hangs in the balance with this presidential election,” added Fr. Pavone, “and with the Supreme Court, the future of our nation for decades to come.  We need to vote, not just for ourselves, but for the generations to come who deserve respect and protection.”
