Alveda King, the daughter of civil rights activist the Rev. A.D. King and niece of Martin Luther King Jr., was guest speaker at the Family of God Baptist Church West Campus on Saturday, touching on a range of topics including her pro-life beliefs, premarital sex, gay marriage and racism.
PANAMA CITY — After having two abortions, evangelist Alveda King began thinking about her life. King, the daughter of civil rights activist the Rev. A.D. King and niece of Martin Luther King Jr., said in 1993 she was born again after Jesus forgave her for her sins.
“Life in the womb is a civil right,” Alveda King said. “It’s the right of the baby to live.”
