IN TODAY’S GOSPEL....the Disciples turn to Our Lord & ask...”What is of the greatest
importance in the Kingdom of God? Christ immediately turns their thoughts...from
Majestic Glory to..HUMILITY....& He did so by pointing to a little CHILD in their midst.
MOST ADULTS..... need to work much HARDER.....on putting more Humility into their
daily living. If they succeed...the Adult begins to reflect the...SIMPLICITY, INNOCENCE
, DOCILITY, TRUSTING NATURE...&....HUMILITY of a CHILD!
AS WE GROW OLDER...&...WISER with the Wisdom of the World....we need to work
on Elevating our worldly wisdom SPIRITUALLY....to get ABOVE NATURE...to STRIVE
& EMULATE the WISDOM of GOD. This daily struggle is....by NO means....an EASY ONE!
MANY THINGS do not satisfy the Human Soul. But a GOOD CONSCIENCE doe Provide
Ease of Mind....& does Foster...PEACE into the Soul...& TRANQUILITY of Heart. There
is also a certain Spiritual MILDNESS & JOY. These are some of the FRUITS of the
HOLY SPIRIT. This PEACE yields an Inner CONTENTMENT.....along with a SWEETNESS.
This is WHY the PSALMIST Prays in Scripture:..PS 33:9***...”TASTE & SEE the sweetness of the Lord.” This is Figurative Language....which means:...”to know by experience” ***

ALL THESE CHILD-LIKE TRAITS.... can be summed up in one word...SIMPLICITY. We say that Almighty God possesses SIMPLICITY. That is to say GOD has NO PARTS. He is not COMPLEX...NOT made from different parts. In fact God is SO DIFFERENT from us...that we say God is INFINITE ...&...Man is FINITE.
AND SO THE CLOSER WE COME to God in...TRUTH, GOODNESS & VIRTUE...the more Child-like SIMPLICITY....&...the more HUMILITY we have of the Child...& the HAPPIER we become.....because we, like the Child, possess TOTAL TRUST, LOVE & DEPENDENCE upon God.....OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN!
THIS....THEN BECOMES.....A FORETASTE.....OF THE DIVINE LIFE.....OF HEAVEN!
