We continue here our series highlighting the members of the Priests for Life Family who serve on our staff and pastoral team.
Elizabeth Hall is not a snowbird or a northern transplant. She’s a Florida native and lifelong resident, and proud of it.
She has two older brothers and a younger sister, and is a doting aunt to her 10 and 2-year-old nieces and 1 and 8-year-old nephews.
Elizabeth first became involved with Priests for Life when a friend from church asked her to help with hospitality for a Pastoral Team meeting. Then she started volunteering to do data entry and became a regular presence in the Titusville headquarters.
“I enjoyed both these ‘tasks’ and the atmosphere and the people very much,” she says. “I kept bugging Chrissy (Christine Kessler) about when I could come help. Roughly five months later, I got a call from Danielle Malina-Jones, the chief financial officer, asking if I would like to become a full-time employee in the Gift Entry department. Now I’m a Gift Entry Associate and am loving it!”
This is Elizabeth’s first full-time job and she calls it “a gift from God.”
“All the staff, especially my closest coworkers, have been helpful and patient. Everyone here is so nice and caring and treat each other like family.”
Learning about the pro-life movement is also new for Elizabeth.
“I haven’t been exposed to abortion much, but know that it takes away something precious from this world,” she says. “The mission of protecting life that Father Frank and Janet and everyone at Priests for Life have undertaken is very noble and something I believe in. They are both passionate and knowledgeable and I’m learning a lot from them. I have learned a lot about the pro-life movement and am excited to learn more.”
