It has been said that the fear of public speaking is, for some, worse than the fear of death.
Yet speaking on abortion does not have to be a cause for fear or hesitation. In fact, the pro-abortion position has a very limited number of arguments, and as time goes on, the evidence in favor of the pro-life position continues to mount.
Thanks to the kind permission of Gregg Cunningham of the Center for Bioethical Reform, and Scott Klusendorf of Stand to Reason, we have posted here portions of a training manual on pro-life speaking which is, in our view, among the most highly recommended sources for training in this area.
It goes beyond merely telling you how to answer pro-abortion slogans.
It probes, in a way that challenges pro-life people and groups to a serious examination of conscience, why we have not yet made the kind of progress we need to make in stopping the killing of the unborn. It lays out a vision for the presentation of the pro-life movement, and uncovers the reasons, so often observed but not always articulated, that explain why there are so many obstacles in the way of our message.
These pages are well worth reading, studying, and applying.
