Priests for Life National Director Frank Pavone today received the Faithful Service Award from the Bott Radio Network during a breakfast at the National Religious Broadcasters Conference in Orlando. This conference is the nation’s largest gathering of Christian communicators.
“Frank Pavone is one of the most prominent pro-life leaders in the world,” Bott Chairman and CEO Rich Bott said in presenting the award before an audience of 1,000 attendees of the conference that brings together hundreds of Christian print, radio, television and digital journalists and leaders of a wide array of Christian ministries.
“His efforts have been recognized as a key factor in the reversal of Roe v. Wade,” Bott said. “His work has been praised by presidents, popes and countless citizens. I just want to thank you for your faithfulness to saving the lives of innocent unborn children.”
Bott Radio was founded 61 years ago by Dick Bott, Rich Bott’s father, and has grown to 120 stations in 16 states, reaching an estimated 60 million people. Some of the most high-profile names in evangelical Christianity host daily or weekly shows on the network.
The plaque presented to Pavone included the following text: “For faithfully following the call on your life to rescue the least of these, whatever the cost.”
Pavone said the award was very meaningful for him.
“Abortion doesn’t only destroy babies; it destroys everything,” he said. “I’m grateful that God called me to do this work and I appreciate this award from an organization that changes hearts and minds with its broadcasts every single day. I’m proud to work alongside Bott Radio Network, as we have done for decades, and I thank them for this tremendous honor.”
