I am doing something unusual and ambitious. I’ve had my staff research the websites of every single member of Congress to make it easier for you to find the location of their home offices, so that you can visit them there while they are in their home states this week and next.
The purpose of the visit? As soon as they return to Washington after Easter, they will be voting on whether or not to stop funding abortion with our tax dollars.
I hope you saw my alert last week about our project asking pro-lifers to visit the local offices of their Representatives in Congress, and their US Senators, about this topic.
This is a RARE opportunity, because
a) Congress is crafting the “Reconciliation” bill – and there’s just one of those -- that only requires a simple majority to pass. Usually, bills to stop funding abortion DO NOT pass because most legislation requires 60 votes in the Senate, and we don’t have 60.
b) We also have the UNUSUAL circumstance of a “Trifecta” – that is, we have a Republican House, a Republican Senate, and a Republican White House all at the same time. That’s the ONLY way we could get a bill through to stop funding abortion.
So the opportunity for a Reconciliation bill passes quickly, and who knows what the next Congress will look like.
All of which means the time to act is now.
We have this week and next week. And I need you to make three visits: the office of your Rep, and the office of each of your two US Senators.
Most likely, you will not be able to meet with them personally and directly but the point is that when someone shows up at a local office about a national issue, that makes a strong impact. If you show up and talk to the staff, the Representative or Senator will hear about it. The DC office will hear about it. And it will reinforce everything that pro-life groups, both via letters and DC visits, have communicated. In fact, when someone visits their Rep, that one person is thought to represent 99 other people!
We are doing this both for Republicans and Democrats, both for those who already strongly agree with us and those who strongly disagree. They all need to see the evidence of what every poll indicates: Americans do not want to pay for abortions.
To find all of the local office addresses of your U.S. House Representative and also of your two U.S. Senators, go to this link, fill out the form, and the addresses will appear.
Remember, you only need to visit the nearest local office of your U.S. House Representative and the nearest offices of your two U.S. Senators.
As for talking points, it’s really as simple as can be, Just tell them, in the Reconciliation bill, please stop funding abortion and Planned Parenthood.
We have put together a longer list of talking points for you to use which you can find here in PDF format for easy printing (and below). But it all boils down to that one simple message.
Then, once you have done this, please let us know the results. Please take photos when you are at the offices. You can email us the photos at mail@ProLifeVote.com or, if you post them on social media, please tag us (@frfrankpavone, @priestsforlife, @JanetMorana).
Finally, please forward this information to every pro-lifer you know and ask them to use this same link so they too can look up their own Representatives and participate in this important project - https://www.priestsforlife.org/members-of-congress/contact-congress.aspx.
Thank you for taking part in this important project.

Talking points for Congressional visits
Note of explanation (no need to say this to your Rep): This is a rare window: we have a Republican trifecta, we are preparing a reconciliation bill, DOGE is cutting wasteful government spending, and more light is being shed on how corrupt Planned Parenthood is.
Reconciliation is currently the best way to defund abortion. It is a special legislative process that allows the House to bypass a potential Senate filibuster to decide what members want to fund and what they want to cut from the budget.
Here are some talking points for the lawmakers and their staff. These talking points are also available here in PDF format.
We are asking lawmakers to use the reconciliation bill to protect our taxpayer dollars from funding the abortion procedure and the abortion industry, including Planned Parenthood.
This is not new or unheard of. Reconciliation bills in 2015 and 2017 included a provision to stop funneling American tax dollars to the abortion industry.
Nearly 60% of Americans oppose taxpayer-funded abortions. This includes 33% of Democrats, 41% of pro-choice voters, and 58% of Independents. https://www.priestsforlife.org/statistics/2025-kofc-marist-poll-results.pdf.
In 2023, abortion took the lives of nearly 1 million unborn children and Planned Parenthood was responsible for 40% of those. Planned Parenthood is already rolling in public funding. The same year Planned Parenthood reported receiving nearly $700,000,000 in government money, the biggest share of which came from Medicaid. Even though the Hyde Amendment is supposed to protect our tax dollars from funding abortion, between 2019 and 2021, the organization received over $1.5 billion in direct payments from the government—to say nothing of its private donors.
What’s more, while Planned Parenthood calls itself a “healthcare provider,” a better descriptor for the organization would be “abortion peddler.” Planned Parenthood received the money under the guise of using it for “other” services including “gender” care and being designated as a “primary health care provider.” But what they do the most is abortion.
According to its most recent annual report, Planned Parenthood performed 392,715 abortions between Oct. 1, 2021, and Sept. 30, 2022, representing a 5 percent increase from the previous year and an increase of over 70 percent in just two decades. At the same time, Planned Parenthood’s legitimate medical services have all decreased in recent years. From 2022 to 2023, preventative care visits fell by 31 percent.
- In 2021-22, abortions made up 97.1% of Planned Parenthood’s pregnancy resolution services, while prenatal services, miscarriage care, and adoption referrals accounted for only 1.6% (6,316), 0.9% (3,604), and 0.4% (1,721), respectively.[5]
- For every adoption referral in 2021-22, Planned Parenthood performed 228 abortions.[6] Over the past 10 annual reports, the ratio was approximately 134 abortions for every one adoption referral.[7]
- According to data from Planned Parenthood’s own annual reports,[8] since 2010:
- Total services are down 17.0%.
- With changing practice guidelines,[9] total cancer screening and prevention services have dropped by 71%, including declines of 72% for breast exams and 74% for pap tests.
- Prenatal services are down 80% from their peak in 2009.
- Contraceptive services are down 39%.
Planned Parenthood then uses much of this money to back the political campaigns of pro-abortion candidates and defeat pro-life candidates. Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations made a record-breaking $69.5 million investment during the 2024 election cycle. See https://www.plannedparenthoodaction.org/pressroom/statement-from-planned-parenthood-action-fund-on-presidential-election-results.
Moreover, Planned Parenthood is a criminal enterprise. They sell baby body parts in contradiction to federal law – a matter about which Congress had to hold hearings a decade ago. See www.BabyBodyParts.com.
Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses routinely coach minors on how to skirt the law that would require the facility’s personnel to report suspected sexual abuse. See www.ChildPredators.com.
A recent New York Times article also confirmed what we have known for decades, that is, the sub-standard, outrageous conditions under which these clinics operate. See also www.ClinicWorkers.com, www.AbortionDocs.org, as well as the book Lime 5 and the more recent study, “Unsafe.”
In a recent Wall Street Journal piece, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy mentioned Planned Parenthood as a reasonable target for cutting government spending.
