[Spanish]
Lord,
Your Word tells us to persevere in doing good,
And not to grow weary,
As we take our strength from you each day,
A strength that makes us fly like an eagle.
For so long, Lord,
We have thought, prayed and worked
For these elections.
We pray today for all who may feel weary.
We know that you, O Lord,
Are ready to renew us.
You are ready to give us fresh energy,
So that we can serve the needs of voters
Who are just now beginning
To pay attention to this election.
You give us strength
To help counsel the doubtful,
And to help those who are confused
By the onslaught of advertising or social media.
Renew us today, Lord, and
Enable us to work as if it were the first day,
So that we may respond effectively
To the urgency of this moment
And the implications of this election.
Thank you for giving us the grace
To do the work you have entrusted to us.
We pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
