[Spanish]
Lord, we pray today
For the right outcome
To countless local policy measures
That are on ballots across the country.
These measures implement local policies and statutes,
Create or rescind regulations,
Amend local constitutions and other official documents,
Revise election procedures,
Change term limits,
Adjust the boundaries of districts,
And much more.
We pray today that you would send
A spirit of diligence upon the voters
That they would pause, study and consult
About what the right vote is in each case.
Give voters the wisdom
To study their ballot in advance
And to avoid having to guess
At what the right answers are
To these often-complicated ballot questions.
In particular, Lord,
We pray that more secure election policies
Will result from these measures,
And that your people would reject
Processes like ranked-choice voting
Or other measures that would dilute and confuse our elections.
We are grateful, Lord,
For the freedom to govern ourselves.
Give us the knowledge and wisdom we need
To guide that freedom in the right direction.
We pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
