Concluding prayer for the states
Father in Heaven, You call your people to obey you above and beyond any earthly authority.
We thank you for raising us up as People of Life, and for giving us the spirit to fight for life no matter what the obstacles.
We thank you for all the efforts of these recent years against extreme abortion initiatives.
Even where these amendments passed,
You have brought new people into our movement, made more people think about the abortion issue, and raised up many coalitions
That will continue to fight for the unborn and their families, and for the freedom of people and their lawmakers to protect them.
Thank you for the collaboration between states, and the help that national pro-life organizations have given in these fights.
Now give us the determination to build on the successes you have given us,
And where extreme abortion amendments have been imposed on us, give us the strength to root them out, to undo them, and to send them back to the pit of hell from which they came.
We ask this through the One who has already conquered sin and death, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!
