Lord, your word commands us to pray for all those in authority, that we may live our lives in peace. As America celebrates the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, hear us as we beg your grace for all in public office, and for all our fellow citizens.
We pray today for the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, his family and his staff. We pray for our Vice-President, JD Vance, and his family and his staff.
Give them your guidance and strength as they lead our nation as we celebrate its 250th birthday.
For this we pray, Lord, bless our nation.
We intercede today for the Congress of the United States. Lord, may our Representatives and Senators represent the values and convictions on which America was built. For this we pray, Lord, bless our nation.
We intercede today for the Supreme Court of the United States. Lord, make the Justices aware that they are not Supreme, and that we must always submit the Supreme Court of the United States to the Supreme Court of Jesus Christ. For this we pray, Lord, bless our nation.
We intercede today for the federal and state courts of the United States. Lord, Grant that those who serve as judges may seek what is right and just, and hold fast to it when it is found. For this we pray, Lord, bless our nation.
We intercede today for the Governors of the United States. Lord, may they pursue the good of their people, and have the courage to do what is right even if it brings them opposition. For this we pray, Lord, bless our nation.
We intercede today for the state legislators of the United States. Lord, inspire all of them across the country to take bold action to advance the protection of unborn children and their mothers and fathers from the harmful and deceitful actions of the abortion industry. For this we pray, Lord, bless our nation.
We intercede today for all the citizens of the United States. Lord, inspire them with clear thinking and courageous action. Enable them to more deeply understand and more effectively defend our nation’s founding principles, articulated by our founders 250 years ago. For this we pray, Lord, bless our nation.
We intercede today for all candidates running in our elections. Lord, please block the path of the godless, pro-abortion, America-hating candidates. Rather, give success and blessing to those who, with a sincere faith in you and love of this country, are ready to celebrate and defend America and her unborn children. For this, we pray, Lord, bless our nation.
We intercede today for all voters across America. Lord, may our elections preserve and increase in the Congress the majorities we need to continue making and keeping America great, and implementing the agenda for which we have voted in the past – especially the protection of the unborn. And at every level of government, may God’s people always elect public servants who know the difference between serving the public and killing the public. For this we pray, Lord, bless our nation.
