[Spanish]
Lord, we thank you for the privilege
Of electing our leaders, And also of lobbying them
To draft, pass, sign and enforce
Laws that will advance
The protection of life,
The advancement of freedom,
And the common good.
Lord, may all your people realize
That sovereignty in this government
Belongs to us, the citizens.
Inspire us with ideas for good bills.
Lead us to the right people to create and sponsor them.
And send us to fill the hallways
Of Congress and our state legislatures
With active, informed citizens
Who will speak with those who represent us,
And provide them with the guidance and encouragement
To do what is right.
Bless all individuals and organizations
Who lobby for the common good,
For the right to life
And for the Christian values
On which this nation was built.
When our efforts do not bear fruit,
May we renew our strength and trust in You,
And when those efforts succeed,
May we give you all the glory,
Just as our Founders did.
We pray through Christ our Lord. Amen
