Lord Jesus Christ,
Author of Life,
Conqueror of Death,
Your mission is to bring us Life,
Because You are Life itself.
All things we created through You and for You.
In You, everything continues in being.
You are the Alpha and Omega,
The Beginning and the End.
You are the only way to the Father,
Because You are the Truth
That destroys the devil’s lies
And You are the Life
That destroys the devil’s murderous acts.
By dying You destroyed our death,
By rising You restored our life.
Just as the Living Father sent You
And You have life because of the Father,
So all who feed on You
Will have life because of You.
Lord Jesus, give us this living bread always,
By the grace we obtain through Faith,
By Your Living Word which we receive each day
And by the Holy Eucharist.
Jesus, You give Life!
Jesus, You are Life!
May each day bring us closer to You,
Fill us more with Your abundant Life,
And lead us to the full possession of that Life
In the Kingdom of heaven,
Where death will be no more
And our joy will be complete.
