Six of the ten abortion ballot measures that were voted on will go into effect: AZ, CO, MD, MO, MT, and NY.
In Nevada, a second vote in the 2026 elections is required for passage.
In FL, SD and NE the pro-life movement defeated the radical pro-abortion amendments, and secured an amendment in NE protecting babies in the second and third trimesters.
In the states where these amendments passed, the work of repealing them began immediately.
Priests for Life worked intensely with all ten states that had these ballot measures, including our home state of Florida. We convened meetings of the state and national pro-life leaders to maximize collaboration.
