Title: The Feast of St. Maximilian Kolbe

Speaker: Fr. Frank Pavone
Date Recorded: 8/14/2026
Description
God’s love does not leave us where we are. It lifts us up, restores our dignity, and calls us to give ourselves away in love. In today’s Scripture reflection, we turn to Ezekiel 16 and the powerful image of God raising His people from misery and entering into covenant with them. That same self-giving love is reflected in the witness of St. Maximilian Kolbe, who gave his life for another prisoner at Auschwitz. His example reminds us that authentic love is courageous. It does not remain silent in the face of evil, and it is willing to sacrifice for the protection of human life. Join us for Scripture, reflection, and prayer as we ask God to fill us with the courage to love, defend the vulnerable, and faithfully live out His call.

Title: Forgive as You Have Been Forgiven

Speaker: Fr. Frank Pavone
Date Recorded: 8/13/2026
Description
How often must we forgive? Jesus gives Peter an answer that challenges every one of us: not just seven times, but again and again. In today’s Scripture reflection, we look at Matthew 18:21-35 and the parable of the unforgiving servant. God has shown us a mercy beyond measure, and Christ calls us to extend that same spirit of forgiveness to those who have hurt us. Forgiveness does not mean excusing evil or pretending that wrongdoing does not matter. It means refusing to let resentment, anger, or vengeance stand between us and God. Join us for today’s Scripture reading, reflection, and prayer as we ask the Lord for the grace to forgive from the heart and to live more fully in His mercy.

Title: Where Two or Three Are Gathered

Speaker: Fr. Frank Pavone
Date Recorded: 8/12/2026
Description
Jesus promises, “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” In today’s Scripture reflection, we explore the deeper meaning of these words from Matthew 18:15-20. God created us not to live only for ourselves, but to give and receive love in communion with others, reflecting the eternal love of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This call to self-giving love also challenges us to reach beyond ourselves and defend the most vulnerable among us, especially children in the womb. Join us for today’s Scripture reading, reflection, and prayer as we ask God to strengthen our faith, deepen our love for one another, and help us build a culture of life.
