Current efforts in Colorado
In 2024, Colorado passed Amendment 79, Right to Abortion and Health Insurance Coverage Initiative to amend the State Constitution to allow more abortion, more easily, and later in pregnancy. To counter this, Pastors For Life and Colorado Life Initiative State Task Force are meeting monthly and are putting forward a "Right to be Born" constitutional amendment in the state with a complimentary "Protection of Children" proposed revised statute.
They are currently seeking grant funding to pay circulators for the 2% of voter signatures needed in each of the thirty-five Senate Districts.
