As the Book of Tobit relates, St. Raphael is the bearer of God’s healing remedies. The pro-life movement proclaims healing for all wounded by abortion. St. Raphael’s Feast Day is September 29.
St. Raphael the Archangel,
You provided a healing remedy
Against the attacks of demons on Tobias
And against the blindness
Of his father Tobit.
You remind us that God protects us from death,
Enlightens us to see his truth,
And heals us of all our wounds.
Intercede for all who are in danger of death from abortion,
For all who are blind to its violence,
And for all who suffer the effects of that violence.
Inspire God’s people
And the entire pro-life movement
To be witnesses and vessels
Of healing mercy to moms and dads,
To grandparents, siblings, and the whole family
To former abortionists and also to pro-life advocates
Who suffer the effects of abortion.
May we all rejoice in the healing power
Of Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
