O Mary,
You are the Gate of Heaven.
You always lead us to Jesus the Lord,
Who is eternal life.
We pray today for all who have died from abortion.
These children were planned from all eternity
And brought into being
By the infinite love of God.
Through the sin of abortion,
They were not allowed
To live the vocation
Or fulfill the plan
Which the Lord had laid out for them.
We trust in his infinite mercy and power
And therefore with sure hope
We entrust these children to the Father
And we ask that you also embrace them
With the mantle of your intercession.
Give hope and consolation
To their mothers, fathers and grandparents
Who mourn their deaths.
We pray, O Gate of Heaven,
For all mothers who were killed by their abortions,
Who walked into abortion centers
But never walked out.
Intercede for them,
That God may have mercy.
Bless our work of ending abortion,
And enable us to point all people to you,
and to Jesus, with whom you are united in heaven,
Forever and ever. Amen.
