Our Lady of Guadalupe,
We honor you as Patroness of the Unborn.
You revealed your image to St. Juan Diego
As a Mother carrying a child who is God.
You taught the Aztec people that God is not against us,
But is with us and takes on our human nature
So that he can share with us His Divine Nature.
Because of this, the Aztecs ended the practice of human sacrifice,
And replaced their despair
With hope in the God who loves us all.
O Virgin of Guadalupe, restore that hope among us today
And bring an end to the human sacrifice which is abortion.
Dispel the fear and despair that lead people to the abortion mill,
And lead them instead to your Son, the Lord of Life!
Enable us to echo your message,
That you, our Mother, are always with us
And that we have nothing to fear.
As your image, left on the tilma,
Travels around our nation and our world
Coming to Churches and even to abortion mills,
As a missionary of hope and of life,
Change the hearts of the people,
To embrace and protect every tiny life
And to help the families of these children
Welcome those new lives with joy.
