Died: April 28, 1962
April 28 is the Feast of St. Gianna Beretta Molla, a mother and doctor who gave her life for her unborn child in 1962. She was canonized in 2004 and is a modern day example of our Lord’s words, “Greater love than this nobody has, than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
In June 2013, Fr. Frank, Janet Morana and Teresa Tomeo travelled to Magenta, Mesero and Milan, Italy to visit the family of St. Gianna Molla and to see the places where she lived, worked and prayed.
 Fr. Frank and Dr. Gianna Emanuela Molla, the child for whom St. Gianna sacrificed her life, in the Basilica of St. Martino in Magenta where St. Gianna was baptized and married.  Teresa Tomeo, Fr. Frank, Dr. Gianna Emanuela Molla and Janet Morana under the banner that hung at the Vatican during the canonizaiton of St. Gianna.

The daughter of St. Gianna Molla, Dr. Gianna Emanuela Molla, the child for whom St. Gianna sacrificed her life, visited the Priests for Life Staten Island office in July of 2011 and enshrined a photo and relic of her mother.
