Archive Information on Missouri Amendment 3

In the 2024 elections, Missouri, passed the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment (Amendment 3) to amend the Constitution to allow more abortion, more easily, and later in pregnancy. Priests for Life is joined with pro-life people throughout the state to defeat this initiative, by means of educational efforts, direct contact with voters, broadcasting, press releases, communication with Churches, prayer campaigns, and much more. Below you will find more information about the ballot measure and what was done to fight it.

Measures like this were on the ballot in nine other states. These measures, while worded differently from state to state, all meant more abortions with fewer limits, fewer health safeguards, and less involvement of parents and doctors. Furthermore, they all meant that the people and their lawmakers could no longer pass laws protecting the unborn or regulating abortion, and that any such laws already on the books would be successfully struck down when challenged in Court.
